High Fructose corn syrup (HFCS) is indeed very bad news

.
High fructose corn syrup can make your health even worse especially if you suffer from heart problems and/or blood sugar disorders.
.
There’re many reasons for this.
.
High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS): What exactly is it ?
High fructose corn syrup is a cheap ingredient that food manufacturers add to their products to enhance the flavor.
.
The really bad news is that HFCS is a whole load of empty, dangerous sugary calories that your body just doesn’t need – especially if you have to control your blood sugar levels.
Research: The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism
Researchers monitored 48 adults aged between 18 and 40 for 2 weeks. The participants consumed 25% of their daily calories as glucose, fructose or HFCS.
At the end of the 2-week trial, the participants had increased concentrations of LDL cholesterol, triglycerides and apolipoprotein-B – a protein that can cause plaques that, in turn, can lead to vascular disease.
PRECAUTIONS TO TAKE
When food shopping, check food labels for corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, or fructose.
